We’re looking for a passionate and driven Head of Hospitality to join our team, leading on the strategic development, operational excellence, and financial success of the Filmhouse Bar Café and wider food and beverage offer.  

Filmhouse is an iconic independent cinema in the heart of Edinburgh, home to a bustling bar café that offers a fresh, delicious and locally sourced food menu alongside an excellent range of drinks from local and Scottish suppliers. Warm, modern and welcoming, it’s a meeting place for cinemagoers to meet and talk about film, as well as attracting pre-theatre diners, clubs, community groups, and those enjoying Edinburgh’s festival and cultural scene.  

Following our reopening in 2025, this exciting role offers the opportunity to lead on the continued growth of the Filmhouse Bar Café, elevating an already popular venue and cementing its reputation as a food and beverage destination. Working closely with our Bar Manager and Head Chef alongside the wider team, this senior leadership role has scope to shape the future of the Bar Café, with the space and flexibility to develop new ideas, offers and partnerships with a view of serving our loyal customer base and attracting new visitors, helping drive revenue that supports Filmhouse’s charitable work while staying true to our community-focused ethos. 

Salary: £38,000-40,000 (dependent on experience)   

This role is based on-site at Filmhouse
