Filmhouse (Edinburgh) Ltd. seeks an Executive Director who, in collaboration with the Board, will shape and lead the new organisation that is working to re-open this important venue after a major refurbishment.
The Executive Director will be responsible for establishing the cultures and systems needed to create a harmonious workplace. They will major on customer experience and on promotion of this key cultural and community hub as a City institution. They will be the organisation’s leadership partner alongside the Programme Director.
This is an opportunity to play a key part in the future of Filmhouse. A successful fundraising effort has gathered capital for the refurbishment, building on organisational development support generously provided by Creative Scotland/Screen Scotland and the City of Edinburgh Council.
Our vision is for Filmhouse to be a world class cultural cinema for Scotland’s cultural capital, contributing to the common good by connecting people with the full diversity of cinematic forms and cultures.
